Saturday I made my way up to the upper east side. They call it the upper east side because it is both geographically and financially north of say, downtown. It's pretty much a new york thing. Met up with Christina and we headed over to the east river to set up shop. We talked bidness and strategery in the sun. It was pretty much the best day and place to have a meeting. You'll see the outcome of this meeting in the guiness book of world records soon enough as "Best Meeting Ever Conducted in a Park on the Upper East Side of Manhattan".

After the schwank meeting Brandon picked me up in the rent a car he had. It was a white and had 4 wheels. I think it was a morano. We drove through the bowels of Astoria in Queens to return it to Laguardia.

Then we went and celebrated Sonya's Birthday at sweet and vicious. Check out the pictures if you dare

****BIG NEWS: The waitress who hates our guts was nice to us this morning. It caught me off guard and made the eggs taste better. I had to watch KONG after this experience. It's kind of like what Jurrasic park should have been. Better luck next time Michael Crichton.

so basically...

Ok people. I'm sorry that it's been so long since my last Bloggy McBloggerson. So anyway, alot has happened since my last post. ALOT. So basically here is what is going to happen, I'm going to do this chronologically. The following were the events that happened within the last 2 weeks.

I headed back to Columbus For Tara's wedding. It was a beautiful wedding. I remember at a doctors office once I read a wedding magazine. The wedding was like reading that magazine and knowing everyone in that issue. Anyway, It was a fun time. Check out the pictures

Highlights: fried pot-stickers and seeing the Real Living Clan

While in Columbus I got to hang out with Aileen and Kerri. They are more fun than anyone you will ever hanging out with. Steph swung down form the North Pole to eat at the very authentic mexican spot you have never heard of. Don Pueblos. It's so authentic that restaurant looks like mexico. pictures from the weekend

Highlights: Aileen finger blasting my eye (it was more violent than sexual)

Thursday BK's sister Ebony came up for a visit. The times were good. Lot's of laughing. It's always great to see her.

Highlights: Eating at Junior's for the first time. Having a drink at a bar off the G train. Celebrating all night at a bar that used to be a brothel (you will find out what the celebrations were about later)

Friday I was going to meet up with Sonya for drink. As I was waiting I called my mom to kill some time. She was with my sister, Kris and my dad. Aly then shared the news she had gotten engaged. I was shocked at first and found it difficult breath. I asked if I could call her back. I did a shot of Jack then sonya came. The next hour was pretty intense. There is something jolting to your being when your baby sister gets engaged. I think I realized that it made me feel like I had suddenly aged 10 years. Anyway, her fiance Kris is one BAMF (bad ass mother f$#ker) and I couldn't be happier for them. After this news I preceded to drink my self retarded. Thanks to Sonya, Brandon, Ebony, Shaggy and Renne for making that night as exciting and happy as it may have been for my sister.

Highlight: Sister got engaged

That weekend my friend Eric had his Show Trapped in the CLoset. This show made me laugh hard. The concept of the show: Show R. Kelly's "Trapped in the Closet" hip- hopera and discuss each chapter with a guest panel. Panel included stand up funny guy Todd Barry and the actual closet door from the epic tale, whose voice was played by the piss in your mouth hilarious David Cross.

Highlights: Actually witnessing R Kelly's "Trapped in the Closet" cahpers 6-12 and hearing David Cross do the Ricki Henderson voice for an hour.

Sunday Ebony left and Comron and Carrie arrived. It had been too long since I saw them last. It was a good time. I can't even tell you how good it was to see them. just look at the pictures

Highlights: Being on the Diamond list at the David Letterman Show. Eating at SEA (again). Spending a sunny monday with friends in the city. Singing karaoke. Hearing Comron, Carrie and Brandon sing karaoke. Sing the worst version of Pearl Jam's "Better Man" ever with some wasted birthday girl under the alias "Jaime and the Birthday Bashers". Having a late night conversation with Carrie in rare form.... priceless.

So yeah.... it was kinda like that.

denny's Revisited

Well I showed my friend Eric Appel the drunk guy video and he said he had the song. And he did. This truly makes the video that much better. So much better, in fact, that I opened a Vimeo Account Anyway let me know what you think of the new and improved DRUNK AT DENNYS VIDEO.

Saturday in the Bus

Saturday we kicked it at Club 185 in Columbus. It was Mer's birthday. Hoopty Boofty. A ton of folks came out from Fitch, Real Living, Grandview and Upper Arlington (all mer's friends) and we kicked it hard. Highlights include dropping my sidekick into a mud puddle and having to get a new one. It was good to see everyone agin. Thanks to all that showed up.

Friday night we had a little party at the Paul's house. The Paul's house was pretty much my high school staple and it is always good to go back. Highlights from the evening included, well, being at the Paul's house with the company of Kristi, Nick, Natalie, Bryan and Chris (who was on the phone talking to his high school girlfriend).

Late Night in Parma

I went back to Ohio last Thursday. Stopped and spent some time with Kristi. It was late and I was hungry. We headed over to Denny's at about 2am. The couple sitting across from us was wasted beyond anything I had seen in my life. So when I saw they were leaving, I decided to take a video just in case. This is what I saw. Pretty effin hilarious.
